South over the scenic Malahat Drive that runs through Gold Stream Park known for its hiking trails, rock climbing and Salmon runs, continuing on to Victoria for lots of sight seeing and shopping. Also the world famous Butchart Gardens are a scenic drive over the Malahat or a short relaxing ferry ride. If your interests lie in island hopping going north Salt Spring and Thetis Islands are close by. Also, north along the Trans Canada Highway on your way to Nanaimo, stop to tour the world famous Chemainus Murals.
